On 25th March, AnOther and Burberry commemorated the opening of Romano’s with a three-pronged celebration: The restaurant was born, the magazine turned 25, and the British heritage powerhouse is a whopping 170 years old. (Although it looks and feels fresher than ever.) And it was quite a lively evening.
Daniel Lee, Burberry’s chief creative officer, along with AnOther founder Jefferson Hack welcomed Alexa Chung, Erin O’Connor, Lily Allen, Honey Dijon, Charlotte Stockdale, Sam McKnight, and many more luminaries from the worlds of art, culture, design, and music for cocktails in the Assembly Room.
After much socialising, they were coaxed to take their seats for a dinner of heritage beetroot salad, roast loin of cod with braised leeks and chive beurre blanc, and lemon posset. The evening ended with a DJ set by Benji B in Simpson’s Bar.
