The nearest Underground Stations are either Charing Cross, Embankment or Covent Garden.

Our nearest parking is Q Park, 34-35 Bedfordbury, London WC2N 4DU, a 7 minute walk from Simpson’s in the Strand.

On-street parking is very limited.

The Grand Divan is accessible from the street for wheelchair users. There is no step-free access to the Assembly Room, Romano’s, Simpson’s Bar or Nellie’s Tavern.

The largest table size in both the Grand Divan and Romano’s is 6 people. The restaurant has a very limited number of larger tables.

Multiple bookings for the same party will not be honoured.

We do not operate a specific dress code.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for all guests, please note that Simpson’s in the Strand does not permit photography in any shared public areas of the restaurant without prior written permission. Discreet photos at the table are welcome, as long as the privacy of all staff members and fellow diners is respected, and they have given permission for their image to be featured.

We ask that any cancellation or modification to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours prior. Should you fail to arrive for your reservation, you will be subject to a charge which will be applied to the credit card on file. Breakfast £25 per person, Lunch and Dinner £40 per person in the Grand Divan, and £25 per person in Romano’s.

Children over the age of five are, of course, welcome in both the Grand Divan and Romano’s so long as they are not disruptive. We kindly ask that any children be included in your final party size.

Please note, restaurant space is very limited, and we are unable to provide high-chairs, or accept or store pushchairs at the table. If you have any further questions, please email our team on info@simpsonsinthestrand.co.uk.

We do not offer a separate children’s menu, however you will find plenty of suitable options on our menus.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Gluten free dishes can be explained separately.

All our dishes are prepared in one main kitchen where a variety of ingredients are used (including: nuts, eggs, dairy and gluten). Although we follow the strictest hygiene practices, we cannot guarantee any dish to be totally free of allergens. If you would like to know more about how our dishes are prepared or cooked, please discuss with the duty management.

Our dishes are not Halal.

We are happy to offer corkage for a maximum of two bottles or one magnum per table, regardless of party size. See our corkage fees below:

  • 1st bottle of still wine £40
  • 2nd bottle of still wine £50
  • 1st bottle of Champagne £50
  • 2nd Bottle £60
  • 1 Magnum of still wine £100
  • 1 Magnum of champagne £120

Please inform the team at the time of making a reservation that you intend to take up this facility.

Our standard service charge is 15% and is automatically added to all bills.

All gratuities, including the Service Charge, are managed on behalf of the staff by an independent third-party troncmaster and are distributed to the staff in full.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate dogs in any of the spaces in Simpson’s, except registered assistance dogs.
